Alpna Rohatgi

Alpna Rohatgi, presently working as an Associate Professor presently at Amity School of Architecture and Planning, Amity University with over 22 years of professional experience, both teaching and corporate. With her love for teaching, in her teaching experience of about fifteen years she has taught besides at Amity, SPA, Delhi, in architecture and product design departments. She is an architect by profession with specialization in product design from IIT, Delhi. She has also worked in real estate with ANSALPI Ltd as senior architect, M/S Kotharis, M/S Gurbachan & Ass and on several freelance school nursing homes and residential projects. She is currently pursuing PhD from DoD, IITDelhi.

Her passion is her love for life, people, therefore anthropology, culture studies, ethnography excites her. Her area of research is vernacular design in regional context of Old Delhi, material culture studies, phenomenology. She loves chatting and enjoys drawing and sketching a lot. She has a flair for design and creativity.
